These stunning gorges form part of the Massif du Caroux and are highly-prized by hardened rock-climbers. Its 600 equipped routes could have been made with rock climbers in mind.
The area is dotted with waterfalls and chasms overlooked by cliffs that can reach 600 metres, and in the height of summer, their naturally cool temperature is delicious.
Hiking and fishing enthusiasts will be thrilled by the beauty of these landscapes. The path at the bottom of the Héric Canyon leads to a landscape featuring rock formations, the Cirque de Farrière, a cave - the Gouffre de Cerisier - and the village of Héric, all of which together make a really scenic walk.
